Compensation:

Starting salary at $47, with eligibility for overtime pay, on-call stipends, and additional financial incentives.

Position Overview:

Foster supportive relationships with clients, assisting children and families in identifying needs and achieving goals, with the aim of promoting stability and permanence.

A Day in the Life of a Child Welfare Case Coordinator:

  • Collaborate with clients to assess their family's needs
  • Develop plans to connect clients with necessary services
  • Guide families through goal-setting processes to facilitate solutions
  • Support family dynamics by coordinating and scheduling visits
  • Engage with families in various settings to evaluate progress towards their objectives.

Work Schedule:

Flexible and non-traditional hours based on the availability of youth and families served. Hybrid work options available depending on job responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field
  • Experience in Child Welfare (preferred)
  • Child Welfare Licensure (preferred)

Additional Requirements:

  • Completion of DCFS criminal background check and fingerprinting
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Possess an insured vehicle
  • Minimum of three years of driving experience with a valid driver's license
  • Successful completion of DCFS Foundations Training for Child Welfare Licensure
