Compensation:
Starting salary at $47, with eligibility for overtime pay, on-call stipends, and additional financial incentives.
Position Overview:
Foster supportive relationships with clients, assisting children and families in identifying needs and achieving goals, with the aim of promoting stability and permanence.
A Day in the Life of a Child Welfare Case Coordinator:
- Collaborate with clients to assess their family's needs
- Develop plans to connect clients with necessary services
- Guide families through goal-setting processes to facilitate solutions
- Support family dynamics by coordinating and scheduling visits
- Engage with families in various settings to evaluate progress towards their objectives.
Work Schedule:
Flexible and non-traditional hours based on the availability of youth and families served. Hybrid work options available depending on job responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field
- Experience in Child Welfare (preferred)
- Child Welfare Licensure (preferred)
Additional Requirements:
- Completion of DCFS criminal background check and fingerprinting
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Possess an insured vehicle
- Minimum of three years of driving experience with a valid driver's license
- Successful completion of DCFS Foundations Training for Child Welfare Licensure
