Key Responsibilities

  • Support the architect in managing the contractual obligations of the design team.
  • Evaluate and authorize submittals related to the MEP scope of work.
  • Address RFIs connected to the MEP scope of work.
  • Conduct regular site inspections (typically monthly) to assess construction progress and ensure compliance with construction documents.
  • Perform final walkthroughs and document any items that do not meet construction document standards.
  • Participate in virtual meetings on a monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly basis, depending on project needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen problem-solving aptitude.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with construction documentation and contract management.
  • Understanding of building codes and construction standards.
  • Experience with construction management software.
