Position Overview:
Trustar Bank is seeking a skilled Universal Banker who will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service as a versatile new accounts representative. The Universal Banker will take ownership of the entire customer experience while adhering to all established policies and procedures of the bank.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the Bank professionally and courteously while providing prompt, efficient, and accurate service in processing transactions, ensuring clients feel welcomed in the branch.
  • Accurately process client financial transactions and balance daily transactions and cash according to established Bank policies.
  • Engage customers with open-ended questions to identify their needs and offer solutions based on Trustar Bank's products and services.
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to client inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Confidently perform account opening and servicing tasks with precision.
  • Assist with various administrative activities to ensure branch compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, including account openings, teller operations, security protocols, BSA compliance, and overall regulatory adherence.
  • Support the Branch in all sales, service, and community initiatives.
  • Assist with additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of one to two years of banking experience in a teller or new accounts role is preferred.

Skills and Knowledge:
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills are essential for representing the Bank positively during customer interactions. Proficiency in mathematics and reasoning skills is necessary. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications is required. The ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly both in person and over the phone is vital.

Working Environment:
Daily interactions with customers and the public are expected, performing routine tasks. Close contact with peers, management, and other bank staff is part of the role. Work schedules may include evenings and weekends.
