About the Role

The Pacific Southwest Market Leader is a strategic and tactical operations leader responsible for overseeing the office and driving growth plans across all solution lines in the market. This role is based in Aon's Los Angeles office and requires a deep understanding of local context, trends, and macroeconomic factors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Pacific Southwest portfolio of clients, championing a positive colleague experience and driving revenue growth.
  • Implement business strategies, develop and achieve sales goals, and communicate financial objectives.
  • Ensure operational excellence, statutory and regulatory compliance, and integration with office leadership to develop cross-solution line business plans.
  • Communicate the overall vision with office solution line leadership, client leaders, sales, and growth operations to deliver on office objectives.
  • Lead people-related activities, including recruitment, training, engagement, performance, succession planning, and employee relations.
  • Build wholistic solution line strategies across the portfolio of clients and ensure execution of the 3x3 Plan, including a growth plan for every Pacific Southwest client.
  • Responsible for client stewardship and executive client contact for the client portfolio.
  • Responsible for connecting with key carriers and partners engaged with all Aon solution lines.
  • Makes and communicates decisions related to local operations.
  • Highly engaged in the local markets and is the face of Aon externally.
  • Promotes Aon's visibility and business networking within the community by encouraging staff participation in local organizations and representing Aon in professional and business associations.
  • Responsible for role-modeling and encouraging a positive, diverse, and inclusive colleague experience.
Requirements
  • Experience in one or more of Aon's four solution lines: Health, Wealth, Commercial Risk, and Talent.
  • Passionate and entrepreneurial about delivering the best of the firm to clients.
  • Deep understanding of local context, trends, and macroeconomic factors.
  • Experienced in leading multi-solution/segment teams in an office.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and critical thinking skills.
  • Able to mobilize stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of achieving growth targets across multiple products or specialties.
  • Builds and develops inclusive and diverse teams.
  • Cultivates an environment in which all employees are seen, valued, and heard.
