About the Role

Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for providing professional pharmaceutical services to patients, healthcare providers, and hospital staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the compounding program, ensuring that all activities are done in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Develop and implement quality initiatives to ensure the preparation of compounded preparations of exceptional quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy leadership to ensure that all compounding activities meet the needs of the pediatric population.
  • Work closely with healthcare providers to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited ACPE school of pharmacy.
  • PGY1 residency accredited by the American Society for Health-System Pharmacy or 2 years' commensurate pharmacist experience in a health-system.
  • Current license or license eligible to practice as a registered pharmacist in Texas.
  • Texas pharmacy preceptor licensure must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
  • CPR - BLS is required, PALS required for critical care areas only.
