The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compounding, quality assurance, and patient education, with a passion for delivering high-quality care to children.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement compounding programs to meet the diverse needs of pediatric patients
- Collaborate with pharmacy leadership to ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulations
- Provide education and training to healthcare providers and staff on compounding and quality assurance best practices
- Conduct quality assurance audits and implement corrective actions as needed
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in compounding and quality assurance
- Graduate from an accredited ACPE school of pharmacy
- PGY1 residency accredited by the American Society for Health-System Pharmacy or 2 years' commensurate pharmacist experience in a health-system
- Current license or license eligible to practice as a registered pharmacist in Texas
- Texas pharmacy preceptor licensure must be obtained within 90 days of employment
- CPR - BLS is required, PALS required for critical care areas only
