Position Overview:
The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Corporate Controller and will be based in a hybrid work environment. This full-time role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with US GAAP and TriMark policies while driving initiatives for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ledger Management:
    Oversee A/R and A/P sub-ledgers, ensuring accurate retrieval of source documents, validation, and reconciliation of transactions within the accounting system.
  • Journal Entries and Reconciliations:
    Prepare and record monthly journal entries while maintaining balance sheet reconciliations and resolving any discrepancies promptly.
  • Financial Analysis:
    Conduct in-depth analysis of financial statements, identifying variances and tracking key metrics to support ongoing improvement efforts.
  • Tax Compliance:
    Manage all aspects of sales and use tax, including the preparation and filing of returns and remittance of sales tax.
  • Financial Reporting:
    Generate ad hoc financial analyses and reports utilizing Excel and other tools, ensuring accurate accounting of vendor rebate income and corporate-level accounts.
  • Collaboration:
    Work collaboratively across functions and with national counterparts to achieve organizational objectives, maintaining regular communication with management, auditors, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
  • 4 to 6 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with intermediate to advanced skills in Excel (including Pivot tables and VLookup).
  • Experience with various ERP platforms is preferred.
  • CPA certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Ability to pass a background check post-offer acceptance.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $95,000, reflecting the national average and subject to the candidate's qualifications and experience.
