About the Role

BKV Group, a leading national design firm, is seeking a talented Landscape Designer II to join our Urban Design and Landscape Architecture practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of design concepts for multi-family residential exterior spaces and physical environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development of design concepts and strategies for residential exterior spaces and physical environments.
  • Prepare project design drawings, details, and specifications from schematic design through construction documents in Revit.
  • Create 3D computer models using Revit, 3D Studio Max, Google SketchUp, or similar programs.
  • Develop color plans, renderings, project elevations, and perspectives using Adobe Creative Suite CS5.
  • Assist with presentation boards and/or hand-outs.
  • Conduct precedent and visioning studies.
  • Create physical models using laser equipment or traditional model-making tools.
Requirements
  • Two to four-year college or university program certificate or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Landscape Architecture degree preferred, but not required.
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field such as placemaking, ecology, stormwater/drainage, climate, soil, grading, and plant materials.
  • Ability to evaluate the project's impact on the local ecosystem at all stages.
  • 4-8+ years related experience.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Adobe, and Microsoft Office Suite.
