POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Packaging Line Associate, you will be responsible for assembling printed or non-printed materials and hardware into appropriate packaging according to client specifications while providing support to the Line Lead.

POSITION COMPETENCIES:
The responsibilities for this role encompass both organizational-wide and department-specific standards. Performance will be evaluated during the Introductory Period through the onboarding plan and manager observations. Subsequently, competencies will be assessed continuously and formally documented annually using the Annual Performance Evaluation Form.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Assist in monitoring temporary workers.
- Communicate any production or quality issues to the line lead.
- Conduct quality assurance checks.


JOB FUNCTIONS:

ESSENTIAL

JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Monitor the quality standards of finished kits according to company and customer specifications.
- Clarify any ambiguous instructions with the kitpacking line lead.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain the quality of finished goods and accuracy of specifications.
- Complete necessary project-related documentation.
- Keep the kitpacking area organized and tidy at all times.
- Punctuality and regular attendance are mandatory.

MEASURES OF EFFECTIVENESS:
Effectiveness will be assessed through manager observations and documentation reviews.

Responsibilities should be performed in a professional, safe, and efficient manner, as determined by project outcomes and other internal and external processes.

Conduct and interpersonal relationships should positively contribute to the delivery of quality results and services, as well as the orderly operation of the department and organization.

Skills should be maintained and enhanced through continuous learning, flexibility, teamwork, participation in planning activities, and attendance at training and continuing education programs.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience:

A high school diploma or GED is required; alternatively, three to five years of experience in an assembly or related role with quality assurance responsibilities, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong skills in work planning and scheduling are essential, along with a good judgment of color, design, and printing quality.
Special Skills/Qualifications:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical information and procedures.
- Proficiency in basic mathematical operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Capability to effectively present information, train others, and respond to inquiries from managers, clients, customers, and employees.

MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
The incumbent must manage stress effectively, make decisions under pressure, handle multiple priorities, and work in confined or crowded areas.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

The incumbent may be exposed to toxins, chemicals, and extreme temperatures (30 degrees F - 115 degrees F), dust, fumes, moving mechanical parts, high-pitched noises, or gases. Approximately 90% of the time will be spent indoors.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

SEDENTARY WORK:
Ability to lift a maximum of 40 lbs. and frequently lift and/or carry items.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to manipulate objects, reach with hands and arms, and communicate verbally. The employee may occasionally need to sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Regular lifting or moving of up to 20 pounds and occasional lifting or moving of 40 pounds is required.
