About the Role

SweetWater Brewing Co. is seeking a reliable and driven individual to join our team as a Packaging Line Operator. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of our packaging process.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Safely operate high-speed manufacturing equipment, including bottle/can/keg lines, and perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
  • Ensure Product Quality: Conduct visual inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure the highest quality products.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Work Environment: Continuously maintain a clean and orderly work environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Work in a Team-Based Environment: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production goals and objectives.
  • Improve Waste, Quality, and Efficiency: Continuously look for opportunities to improve waste reduction, quality, and efficiency in the packaging process.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience with high-speed filling equipment (Krones, KHS) and clean-in-place (CIP) processes is strongly preferred.
  • Operational Experience: Mandatory operational experience with beverage filling.
  • Physical Demands: Capable of lifting and carrying 75 lbs.
  • Skills: Self-management, good organizational skills, problem-solving, root cause analysis, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills and excellent verbal communication are required.
  • Industry Experience: Prefer experience in the food/beverage industry.
  • Transportation: Have reliable transportation to/from work.
