Primary Role:
Actively promote and sell 50/50 jackpot tickets to attendees aged 18 and older during events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clearly communicate and share information about our community initiatives.
- Attend events and sell 50/50 jackpot tickets using our electronic systems.
- Engage with attendees pre-event and during the event to encourage ticket purchases.
- Ensure accurate distribution of jackpot tickets.
- Compile and report total ticket sales and proceeds to designated staff after each event.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by AEG staff.
- This role requires in-person interaction with team members and attendees, necessitating physical presence at events.
Qualifications:
- Preferred experience in customer service.
- Background in sports operations or event management is a plus.
- Exhibit a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Outgoing personality with the ability to connect with the audience.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Interest in community engagement and fundraising is advantageous.
- Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 10 lbs.
- Must be able to perform various physical activities as necessary.
