Development and Fundraising Manager

A dynamic and experienced Development and Fundraising Manager is sought to join our team at Boutique Recruiting. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a passionate team dedicated to supporting the foster care system and adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the donor pipeline and meet revenue goals.
  • Manage a portfolio of donors, with a focus on retention and growth.
  • Plan and lead targeted events for prospects and donors.
  • Manage volunteer committees, vendors, and event logistics for all major organizational events.
  • Develop content for sponsorship packages and manage sponsorship and auction solicitations.
  • Maintain budgets, revenue reports, tracking, and post-event follow-up.
  • Manage and mentor the Development Coordinator, interns, volunteers, and all other community committee members.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of related experience; 4+ years of experience in the non-profit industry.
  • Proven success in meeting fundraising goals through diverse funding streams.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Collaborative spirit, team player, driven.
  • Flexible, positive, can-do attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat/Illustrator, CANVA, Constant Contact, Photoshop/VISIO, and Zoom.
  • Experience with Salesforce is a huge plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; keen eye for detail.
  • Copy and grant writing, annual giving, and planned giving experience are a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with and motivate others; flexible, can-do attitude.
  • Travel requirements are up to 50% in the field and the other 50% is at the office or at home (if not local to office in LA).
