Child & Family Service is seeking a skilled and empathetic Outreach Specialist to join our team. As an Outreach Specialist, you will be responsible for connecting with clients, assessing their needs, and linking them with resources that can help them achieve stability and well-being.
Responsibilities- Conduct community outreach and provide information and referral services as needed.
- Screen for trauma and/or mental health concerns and provide informal lay counseling where appropriate.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
- At least one year of experience providing direct care to children and adolescents.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and crisis response.
- Ability to communicate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $50,000 - $65,000, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and generous paid time off.
