Production Cell Manager

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing cell, meeting delivery commitments, and providing high-quality products to our customers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Support all company safety initiatives and conduct regular safety audits to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Lead the self-inspection process and maintain the quality output of the cell, ensuring that all products meet the required specifications.
  • Coordinate the daily cell meeting and present results and corrective actions based on weekly metric reviews.
  • Maintain the production schedule, including in-station and out-of-station requirements, and schedule overtime as needed.
  • Respond to personnel issues and concerns, conduct daily toolbox talks, and maintain employee time and attendance.
  • Interact with the Human Resources department to address employee issues and support the administration of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

**Requirements:**

  • Three to five years of previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Lean Manufacturing experience and superior interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Adequate computer knowledge and skills, with the ability to mentor others and work well under pressure.
  • Goal-oriented and motivated to achieve tasks within set timelines.
