Job Title: Counselor Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Counselor Supervisor to join our team at Santa Rosa Treatment Program. As a Counselor Supervisor, you will provide supervision and evaluation of counselors, as well as case management, individual counseling, education, and evaluations to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide supervision to counselors, including chart audits, reporting, and conducting trainings
  • Maintain a caseload and provide individual counseling to clients
  • Perform intake interviews, including assessment of current use and appropriateness for the program, review of substance abuse history, creation of individualized treatment plans, and education on program policies and procedures
  • Maintain charts in accordance with California Department of Health standards, as well as other city, county, federal, and Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities standards
  • Organize and participate in monthly chart reviews
  • Audit charts daily and countersign documents when appropriate
  • Participate in weekly required staff trainings

Qualifications:

  • Must have and maintain a Counselor Certification as defined by the California Code of Regulations, chapter 8: Certification of Alcohol & Other Drug Counselors
  • A minimum of two years supervisory experience with responsibilities involving drug and alcohol treatment and education in psychology, sociology, and/or other closely related fields
  • A clear understanding of State and Federal regulations (for Title IX)
  • Strong mentoring, interpersonal communication, and training skills
  • Solid computer skills, including email and MS Office
  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to communicate with a diverse population

Benefits:

  • Full-time position from 5:45 AM to 2:15 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Benefits include PTO, paid holidays, health insurance options, full vision, and dental coverage
  • Pay is dependent on certification and years of experience
