About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Plumber and Pipefitter Foreman to join our team at ColonialWebb. As a Foreman, you will be responsible for leading a team of plumbers and pipefitters on commercial projects, ensuring that work is completed safely and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and supervise a team of plumbers and pipefitters on commercial projects
  • Ensure that work is completed safely and to the highest quality standards
  • Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders to ensure that work is completed correctly
  • Study schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completion of jobs
  • Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedules
  • Work safely and encourage others to do so, complying with applicable health and safety-related rules, regulations, and procedures
Requirements
  • Current or previous leadership experience as a Foreman working on commercial projects
  • In-depth experience and knowledge of commercial plumbing systems
  • Master's or Journeyman Plumbing License (preferred, not required)
  • Possess knowledge of applicable code (i.e., International Plumbing Code, International Mechanical Code) and general HVAC systems
  • Ability to install work from drawings, submittals, and specifications
  • Ability to direct crews to install work safely with quality and efficiency
  • Ability to read and understand project-related documents in the English language
  • Knowledge of basic construction/shop math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions)
  • OSHA 10-hour certification and knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
  • Foresight and problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions with information on hand
  • Ability to communicate and deal effectively with teammates in other trades
  • Experience and demonstrated skills with Microsoft Office and internet usage
