Responsibilities:

  • Assess and report on departmental operations to ensure continuity of care
  • Communicate effectively with management and administration to address unusual occurrences or complaints
  • Ensure nursing staff perform patient care in a safe and error-free environment
  • Monitor and document medical records, including Interdisciplinary Care Plans
  • Provide education and training on Functional Independent Measure (FIM) assessments and scoring
  • Enforce compliance with education and in-service requirements for nursing staff
  • Review and evaluate risk and quality indicators, patient satisfaction results, and outcomes to improve performance and outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program with current licensure in the state
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
  • Minimum of two years of previous nursing management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, evaluate, and direct clinical personnel
  • Effective oral and written communication skills in English, with additional languages preferred
