Clinical Nurse Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Ascension Seton Northwest. As a Clinical Nurse Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of clinical and non-clinical staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and implementing clinical objectives in an assigned area.
Responsibilities:
- Assess daily patient care needs and develop and distribute patient care assignments to ensure population-appropriate patient care.
- Delegate appropriate duties to clinical and non-clinical staff based on their assessed skills and abilities.
- Evaluate the care delivered by other licensed and non-licensed caregivers and support staff by providing direct and immediate feedback and coaching.
- Participate in the hiring process for new staff members assigned to the shift by conducting interviews and making hiring recommendations.
Requirements:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
- Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job-specific experience required.
