They excel in content creation and possess a strong presence on social media platforms. These extroverted personalities are creative, enthusiastic, and genuinely embody the essence of Diageo brands. As trusted opinion leaders, they passionately promote Diageo products, fostering engagement both in-person and online, thereby influencing consumer purchasing decisions. Brand Advocates are skilled in producing high-quality content that aligns with brand strategies.

This role is categorized as an Occasional Employment Position. Acceptance as a Brand Advocate does not ensure a specific number of assignments. Brand Advocates are required to complete all necessary documentation and comply with all MKTG Policies & Procedures as well as the NA Diageo Marketing Code.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engage with consumers through education, enthusiasm, and authenticity.
  • Develop, write, and curate content that aligns with brand strategies to shape consumer opinions.
  • Connect with consumers to enhance brand perception and encourage purchases.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the brand and its category, with a commitment to furthering their knowledge.
  • Complete digital training for market brands and programs as directed.
  • Utilize technology platforms to gather and input information necessary for representing Diageo brands.
  • Arrive at events punctually, dressed appropriately as specified by the market team, and be ready to execute promotional activities as outlined in program standards.
  • Adhere to Responsible Server Guidelines and report any violations.
  • Capture digital event photos and contribute to the market's social media presence.
  • Understand how Diageo brands differentiate from competitors and report on competitive activities in the market.
  • Maintain a professional appearance for consumer interactions.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Outgoing personality with a passion for the Spirits and Beer industry.
  • Reliable, relevant, and timely in communications.
  • Strong social media presence with a significant following of individuals aged 21 and over.
  • Experience in creating blog or vlog content is advantageous.
