Juvenile Justice Specialist

About the Role:
Brightpoint, formerly known as Children's Home & Aid, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Juvenile Justice Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will provide strength-based, trauma-informed case management services to juvenile justice-involved youth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with youth and families in their homes and community-based locations to provide individualized services.
- Develop and implement strength-based case plans to address trauma, build positive relationships, and increase protective factors.
- Navigate the juvenile justice system on behalf of youth and families, ensuring seamless coordination of services.
- Collaborate with other service providers, including educational and workforce readiness programs, local probation departments, and mental health and substance abuse treatment providers.
- Complete thorough and timely documentation, including assessment and service notes, using a web-based client services platform.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related social services field.
- Experience working with juvenile justice-involved youth highly desirable.
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle required.
- Clear and strength-based communication style, both verbally and in writing.
