At Truman Medical Centers, we are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. As a Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality cardiac ultrasound exams, including spectral, color, and tissue doppler exams, stress echoes, pharmacologic stress echoes, and TEEs. You will operate mobile equipment throughout the hospital and review and report all tests performed by a staff cardiologist.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic CPR certification, and be registered and maintain active registry status through ARDMS standards. RDCS – Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or RCS through CCI –Cardiovascular Credentialing International certification is required. Additionally, the candidate must possess active BLS certification and maintain current status to remain assigned to the position.

The successful candidate will have considerable knowledge of human anatomy and physiology in relation to the cardiovascular system, as well as good verbal communication skills to explain procedures to patients and exchange information with co-workers and staff. Written communication skills are also required to document procedures.
