Job Summary

As a Cardiac Sonographer Specialist at Truman Medical Centers, you will perform high-quality cardiac ultrasound exams, including spectral, color, and tissue doppler studies, stress echoes, and TEEs. You will operate mobile equipment throughout the hospital and review and report tests performed by a staff cardiologist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cardiac ultrasound exams, including spectral, color, and tissue doppler studies, stress echoes, and TEEs
  • Operate mobile equipment throughout the hospital
  • Review and report tests performed by a staff cardiologist
  • Meet ARDMS standards for active registry status
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic CPR certification
  • Active BLS certification
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer (RCS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Three years of cardiac ultrasound experience
