Job Summary:

The Director of Cardiac Services is a key leadership position at Saint Joseph Medical Center, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Cardiovascular Laboratory Services and physician enterprise(s) focusing on Cardiac Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administers, plans, directs, and evaluates the activities of employees to ensure quality patient care.
  • Develops and executes strategic plans, analyzes and reports practice operations, monitors billing performance, and overall financial and operational performance of all Cardiac Services.
  • Develops goals, policies, and procedures, and participates in performance improvement activities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years of prior experience managing in a healthcare setting, including implementing operational plans and analyzing financial and quality data.
  • Prefer previous experience managing Cardiac Services in an acute care (inpatient/outpatient) or in a Physician Practice setting.
  • Basic computer knowledge and experience with electronic health records and billing systems.
  • Master's degree in health administration or other related field preferred.
