Position Overview:

The Registered Nurse is accountable for delivering coordinated nursing care for patients or a designated group of patients within the unit, overseeing daily management and clinical activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make informed decisions based on knowledge of medical conditions, required care, and sound judgment.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records of each patient's procedures in accordance with established care standards.
  • Be knowledgeable about available supplies and equipment and their appropriate use within the operating room.
  • Prepare and uphold sterile and non-sterile supplies and equipment.
  • Serve as a preceptor when necessary.
Qualifications:

Essential Expertise and Experience Required:

  • ASN or BSN degree
  • Current RN license in Georgia
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • CNOR certification preferred
  • A minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred
