Manufacturing Engineer - Spacecraft Production Specialist
You will be responsible for building, testing, and qualifying next-generation spacecraft as a Manufacturing Engineer. This role requires innovative solutions and cutting-edge technology to solve complex manufacturing and engineering problems daily.
As a critical lynchpin between production, development, tooling, supply chain, and quality teams, you will lead production on the assembly line and new production introduction. You will also be the first line of support for technical challenges to the production team, using your expertise to rapidly respond to, triage, and solve product issues that slow down factory throughput.
Additionally, you will be responsible for standing up new processes, equipment, and assembly lines to support an aggressive build ramp, making data-driven decisions at each step in the process.
Required Skills:
Must Have Minimum 3 -8 Years of Professional Experience in:
- Aerospace Industry
- SAP or ERP software and systems
- Low Rate Manufacturing Environments & New Product Introduction
- Lean manufacturing practices & principles
- Experience with Root Cause Analysis Techniques such as Fishbone, Fault Tree, DMAIC, etc
