About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Vending Technician to join our team in Eastern Iowa. As a Vending Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, setup, repair, and ongoing maintenance of vending, cooling, and fountain equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and set up new vending equipment, ensuring it is properly configured and functioning correctly.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vending, cooling, and fountain equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Refurbish new and used equipment in our service shop to extend its lifespan and improve efficiency.
  • Conduct daily vehicle safety checks to ensure safe operation of assigned vehicles.
  • Educate customers on basic equipment repair and upkeep procedures to promote self-sufficiency and reduce support requests.

Shift and Schedule:

  • This is a full-time position with a standard Monday-to-Friday schedule.
  • Working hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Reporting Location:

  • This position will be based at our main facility in Cedar Rapids, IA, and will cover customers in the entire Eastern Iowa territory.

Total Rewards:

  • Competitive hourly rate starting at $24.28 per hour.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in vending and face-to-face customer interaction.
  • EPA certification preferred.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 40 pounds repeatedly.
  • Mechanical aptitude and past maintenance experience are desired.
