Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Service Technician to join our team at Midwest Petroleum Equipment LLC. As a Senior Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical petroleum equipment and products.

This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday, with a competitive salary and annual bonus opportunity. We offer a sign-on bonus of up to $7,501 for qualified candidates, relocation expenses, paid education, training, and certification, a company vehicle, clothing and cell phone allowance, 401K with company match, excellent health, dental, and vision insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance, and paid time off and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and perform repairs and preventative maintenance on fuel dispensers and its components
  • Install, troubleshoot, and upgrade POS software
  • Working with PCs and loading software
  • Monitor and is accountable for accuracy of parts inventory
  • Analyze electronic and mechanical problems and provide repairs as required
  • Install, program, and test new equipment
  • Communicate with customers and explain technical issues in common terms
  • Present self in a professional manner and arrive promptly to service calls

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a petroleum service technician (required)
  • Must be certified in Gilbarco or Wayne dispenser service (required)
  • Proven ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Willingness to learn terminology and processes of the industry
  • High level of attention to detail and urgency
  • Able to climb, lift 50lbs, and pass the DOT physical exam
  • At least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required
