Job Title: Senior Legal Manager

Sia Partners is a next-generation management consulting firm that offers a unique blend of AI and design capabilities. We are seeking a Senior Legal Manager to join our team and drive the success of our clients.

About the Role

The Senior Legal Manager will be responsible for leading our legal and regulatory affairs team, providing strategic guidance on compliance and risk management, and developing innovative solutions to complex business problems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal technology, regulatory affairs, and business development.

Responsibilities
  • Lead projects with leading institutions, including large tech companies and financial institutions
  • Conduct projects around regulatory compliance, legal technology, control review, risk & compliance advisory, technology implementation, and data privacy
  • Develop new intellectual property, including leading-edge research on white papers, marketing materials, and articles
  • Work closely with our global network to take part in cross-selling initiatives and share knowledge
  • Drive the success of a work stream by directing activities, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and timely submissions
  • Manage a team of consultants by defining meaningful work packages, managing activities, and close mentorship
  • Participate in business development activities, including content development, proposal preparation, and sales presentations
  • Share consulting best practices with the team
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7 years of management consulting experience, with 3 years of team management and business development experience
  • 3+ years of experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory technology
  • 5+ years of experience in technology and analytics solutions, with advanced SQL experience
  • Programming experience is a plus (Python, and other OO programming languages)
  • Experience leading significant project management engagements with successful outcomes in complex organizations
  • Desire to build an opportunity with an organization that fosters their entrepreneurial spirit
  • Proven track record of originating sales pursuits and closing sales, creating solutions to complex business programs, operational excellence, and a strong understanding of consultative sales approach
  • Being an early adopter of AI technologies
  • Ability to drive relationships within C-Suite and other senior executives to understand their organizational needs and recommend solutions that add value to their business
  • Team player with outstanding interpersonal and demonstrated leadership skills
  • Bachelor's degree required in business or related field; advanced degrees welcome
  • Able to travel up to 30% (post-COVID)
  • Ability to build, manage, and foster a team-oriented environment and to mentor team members
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Dynamic and able to achieve results with an entrepreneurial mindset
