Lead Doula/Family Case Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Doula/Family Case Manager to join our team at the DuPage County Health Department. This is a full-time position that requires a strong understanding of family-centered and strength-based service provision, as well as experience in supervising diverse staff and providing support in stressful work environments.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and monitor family support services for Healthy Families clients who require more complex levels of assistance and support.
- Provide ongoing reflective and administrative supervision to doula program staff and case managers serving at-risk families with young children.
- Ensure that services are client-centered and grant deliverables are met.
- Provide reflective and administrative supervision to Doulas and Case Manager(s), including providing support on an on-call basis.
- Ensure the integration of multiple services to achieve a comprehensive approach to client care.
- Keep up to date on grant, program, and reporting requirements.
- Identify and resolve employee relations and performance issues.
- Provide appropriate leadership and direction, promoting positive morale, creativity, and teamwork among staff.
- Act as a liaison to community providers, providing support, expertise, and linkage to early child home visiting resources.
- Maintain required training, licensure, and/or certification, demonstrating sensitivity and understanding of diversity and various cultures.
- Completion of a master's degree in human services or fields related to working with children and families.
- Experience in supervising diverse staff and providing support in stressful work environments.
- Ability to provide reflective and administrative supervision to individuals with varying experience levels.
- Experience with family services that embrace the concepts of family-centered and strength-based service provision.
- Experience in supporting culturally diverse communities/families.
- Demonstrated skill and experience as a doula, midwife, prenatal nurse, or similar field preferred.
- Working skill in conducting program audits, interpreting results, and providing relevant feedback to staff.
- Strong organizational skills to manage the doula calendar and multiple/complex responsibilities.
- DONA Birth Doula and Childbirth Education training within 6 months (and certification within 3 years) required and provided as part of employment.
- Infant and early childhood mental health credential preferred.
