Position Overview

As the Front Desk Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the Front Desk operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily Front Desk operations.
  • Ensure optimal productivity, high employee morale, and exceptional guest service.
  • Enforce adherence to all hotel policies and procedures.
  • Assist the Front Office Manager in training staff on guest services, brand standards, and operational procedures.
  • Facilitate guest check-ins and check-outs in accordance with established standards.
  • Provide guests with information regarding hotel amenities, policies, and local attractions.
  • Manage the hotel’s phone system, ensuring accurate message taking and call transfers.
  • Handle guestroom reservations, modifications, and cancellations.
  • Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, coordinating with other departments as necessary.
  • Perform cashier duties, including processing payments and posting charges to guest accounts.
  • Follow security protocols to ensure the safety of guests and staff, and be familiar with emergency procedures.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Front Office area.
  • Report any issues involving guests or staff to the Front Office Manager.

Additional Duties

The hotel operates continuously, requiring flexibility in scheduling to meet business demands. Employees may be required to work varying shifts.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hotel front desk operations is essential.
