Behavioral Health Operations Director

About Us: Signet Health is a national leader in behavioral health management, dedicated to providing exceptional care and innovative solutions. We are seeking a seasoned Executive Director to oversee the Behavioral Health Pavilion of the Virginias, a comprehensive facility serving a wide region of West Virginia and southwest Virginia. Position Overview: As the Executive Director, you will play a pivotal role in managing our 64-bed behavioral health pavilion, which includes Geriatric, General Adult, and Psychiatric Intensive Care units, alongside a full-service Outpatient Clinic. This highly visible position entails strategic responsibility and collaboration with hospital leadership and Signet Health to create a cohesive and respected program that meets the needs of our community. Key Responsibilities:
- Advance physician engagement and drive operational excellence in patient care delivery.
- Recruit and develop behavioral health physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff in collaboration with hospital recruitment teams.
- Align with regional strategic initiatives to oversee referral development and marketing for the behavioral health service line.
- Develop and implement strategic operating and capital budgets.
- Provide oversight for personnel management and staff development.
- Plan and implement behavioral health system integration throughout the Princeton Community Network.
- Collaborate with clinical and quality leadership to optimize organizational performance against national quality measures.
- Serve as the behavioral health expert and operational resource within the Leadership Team.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and oversee program expansion in accordance with West Virginia regulatory systems.
- Master's degree in Healthcare or Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive behavioral health operations experience, with at least 5 years in a similar leadership role within a comparable-sized hospital program.
- Proven experience managing physician relationships and developing a culture of continuous improvement.
- Strong familiarity with process improvement methodologies and systems that support quality and cost improvement.
- Knowledge of West Virginia state governmental oversight, reimbursement, and regulations for inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services.
