Position Overview:

The role involves providing educational, administrative, and technical support to the Standardized Patient (SP) Program. Responsibilities include managing program processes and orchestrating SP teaching and evaluation activities across various programs. Key tasks involve:

  • Creating training and educational resources for standardized patients to facilitate the learning of medical students and healthcare professionals.
  • Recruiting, training, supervising, and assessing standardized patients and proctors, offering constructive feedback on their performance.
Essential Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, along with one to three years of related experience. Strong interpersonal skills and effective written and verbal communication abilities are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience as a Standardized Patient is advantageous. Training experience is a plus. Organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and being a collaborative team member are preferred attributes.

Salary Range:

$50,000 to $58,000 annually

Additional Information:

This position offers a flexible schedule as needed, with the ability to work evenings and weekends, and adjust daily work hours as required.

Special Considerations:

This is a bargaining unit position. External candidates may need to complete a probationary period. Occasional evening and weekend work may be necessary. Current employees may also be subject to a probationary period. The role is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, allowing for a mix of on-campus and remote work, in line with the university's telecommuting policy. A background check is mandatory for this position.
