Seeking a Clinician-Supervisor for Inpatient Psychiatry

We are looking for a highly skilled Clinician-Supervisor to join our team at the University of Vermont Medical Center. As a key member of our Inpatient Psychiatry units, you will provide clinical supervision to group therapists and contribute to program development, design, and improvement.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in clinical consultation and supervision. You will work closely with our team to provide supervision to both licensed therapists and those working toward licensure. Additionally, you may contribute to medical student, psychiatry, and/or psychology resident education and training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical supervision to group therapists
  • Contribute to program development, design, and improvement
  • Supervise licensed therapists and those working toward licensure
  • Contribute to medical student, psychiatry, and/or psychology resident education and training
  • Provide consultation and limited direct service around behavior management and crisis stabilization
  • Provide consultation to the Emergency Department
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Licensure in the State of Vermont as Psychologist-Doctorate, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Mental Health Clinician
  • PsyD or PhD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program
  • Completion of internship from an APA-accredited or equivalent program
  • Completion of at least 1 year of postdoctoral training in a clinical setting
  • Minimum 3 years' post-licensure clinical experience in Clinical/Counseling Psychology or Psychiatric Social Work or Mental Health Counseling
