Job Overview

The Times Microwave Systems team is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior RF Product Validation Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the planning and execution of design qualification and product evaluation tests on RF coaxial cables and connectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for product validation and qualification test campaigns, ensuring adherence to customer, military, and TMS specifications.
  • Compile and organize test data into detailed reports, utilizing TMS reporting methods and providing actionable insights for improved product performance.
  • Analyze product performance data to determine reliability, repeatability, and predicted life expectancy, identifying areas for improvement and optimizing test procedures.
  • Work independently and take ownership of projects to achieve schedule, financial, and technical goals, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed.
  • Evaluate product performance after simulated aging using HALT and HAST techniques, providing critical insights for product design and development.
  • Design custom fixturing and test plans for novel product qualification, staying up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies and technologies.
  • Serve as a technical expert on RF, mechanical, and environmental testing, including test apparatus and systems, and provide guidance to colleagues on best practices and procedures.
  • Perform failure mode evaluations on coaxial cables and connectors, identifying potential weaknesses and developing strategies for mitigation.
  • Maintain and service on-site test equipment as necessary, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Evaluate existing test equipment capability, identify opportunities for capital investments, and justify costs to support business objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of engineering experience, preferably in environmental testing and RF components.
  • Strong background in equipment and methods involved in environmental testing, including MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-202.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
