Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Wealth Planning Strategist to lead our firm's comprehensive wealth planning methodology. This role requires a senior leader with a strong background in financial planning, investment products, retirement planning, risk management, estate planning, and tax strategies.

The successful candidate will develop and provide strategic leadership for our firm's wealth planning methodology, ensuring it aligns with our goals and client needs. This includes leading the evolution of wealth planning strategies across financial planning, retirement planning, investment products, risk and insurance, estate planning, and tax planning.

The Senior Wealth Planning Strategist will oversee a centralized team of financial planning experts, manage our wealth planning toolset, and oversee integrated service delivery teams specializing in insurance and estate planning. This role also requires coordination with various departments to assess and implement new tools, products, and services, and to ensure that our firm remains at the forefront of financial planning practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and provide strategic leadership for our firm's comprehensive wealth planning methodology
  • Lead the evolution of wealth planning strategies across financial planning, retirement planning, investment products, risk and insurance, estate planning, and tax planning
  • Oversee a centralized team of financial planning experts
  • Manage our wealth planning toolset
  • Oversee integrated service delivery teams specializing in insurance and estate planning
  • Coordinate with various departments to assess and implement new tools, products, and services
Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field
  • Professional certifications such as CFP, CFA, ChFC, or similar credentials
  • A minimum of 20 years of experience in financial planning, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role
  • In-depth knowledge of financial planning, investment products, retirement planning, risk management, estate planning, and tax strategies
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams of financial professionals and driving strategic initiatives
  • Strong proficiency in financial planning software and tools, with a track record of evaluating and implementing new technologies
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to think strategically and implement initiatives that align with organizational goals
