Job Description

As a Staff RN at MultiCare Health System, you will be part of our hospital-based team delivering nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols. You will prioritize, delegate, deliver and evaluate patient care on an ongoing basis, utilizing your knowledge base of nursing education and experience. Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction. Foster a learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff and members of the health care team. Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse backgrounds.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a nurse with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five years from the initial date of hire; RN with 15+ years of service may be considered in satisfaction of this requirement. Advanced degree in Nursing preferred. Registered Nurse license in Washington State or multi-state licensure endorsement required. Current BLS Certification required. ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification as required by facility or department. One year of experience in acute care setting preferred. Certification in specialty area preferred.
