Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Care Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our care team, you will work closely with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide supportive counseling, coaching, and therapeutic activities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement individualized care plans to address clients' unique needs and goals.
  2. Provide supportive counseling and coaching to clients and their families to promote healthy coping mechanisms and improved quality of life.
  3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  4. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and care activities.
  5. Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience in mental health or a related field preferred.
  • Eligibility for registration as an Agency Affiliated Counselor is required.
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle liability insurance are necessary for transporting clients.
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or approved for a qualified medical or religious exemption.
