About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Behavioral Health Specialist. In this role, you will provide medication-assisted treatment to clients in our mobile MAT services program.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications, including injections, and monitor clients' symptoms and response to medication
- Utilize electronic dispensing software for medication administration
- Counsel clients about medications and treatment
- Complete nursing assessments and monitor for symptoms of dyskinesia, sedation, or intoxication prior to administering any medication
- Review all new prescriptions for contraindications and coordinate care with other healthcare providers as needed to ensure safe treatment
- Monitor supply levels of methadone, suboxone, and dispensing supplies; complete daily inventory; and follow protocol for receiving shipments
- Assess clients for safety and risk to self or others, and take appropriate crisis intervention measures when indicated
- Complete all clinical documentation in a timely and client-centered manner
Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing
- Registered Nurse license in Washington State
