About the Role

Del-Air Heating & Air Con is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and installations of heating and cooling systems in residential homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance of heating and cooling systems.
  • Repair and Install Systems: Troubleshoot and repair issues with heating and cooling systems, and install new systems as needed.
  • Work with Low and High Voltage Wiring: Safely work with low and high voltage wiring to diagnose and repair electrical issues.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, providing clear explanations of work performed and estimated costs.
Requirements
  • 1+ Year of HVAC Field Experience: Possess a minimum of one year of experience working in the HVAC field, preferably with a reputable company.
  • EPA Certification: Hold a valid EPA certification, Type II, and be willing to obtain Universal certification.
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license for at least 15 months and meet the company's auto guidelines for operating a company-owned vehicle.
  • On-Call Rotation: Be willing to work on an on-call rotation, as assigned.
  • Customer Skills: Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and be able to work effectively with customers.
  • Eligibility to Work in the US: Be eligible to legally work in the United States.
  • Age Requirement: Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Background Check and Drug Screen: Successfully complete a background check and drug screen.
