About the Role

This is a critical position that plays a key role in the success of our retail stores. As a Customer Service Representative, you will work closely with wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, provide expert advice on Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend solutions that meet their requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Develop trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers, understanding their needs, and providing personalized solutions.
  • Process Sales Transactions: Accurately process sales transactions, maintain precise work order files, and follow company policies and procedures.
  • Meet Sales Goals: Consistently meet sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, suggesting ways to improve sales and contributing to the success of the store.
  • Maintain Store Appearance: Ensure the store is well-stocked, visually appealing, and meets company standards, including cleaning store equipment and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Assist with Deliveries: Load and unload delivery trucks, assist with making deliveries, and maintain accurate inventory control procedures.
Requirements
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks, lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
  • Availability: Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid Driver's License: Have a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
  • High School Diploma or GED: Have at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Customer Service Experience: Have at least one year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
  • Paint Sales Experience: Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language, including Spanish.
