Compensation:
Annual salary range: $74,880 - $91,520

Position Overview:
The Infection Control Specialist plays a pivotal role in leading our infection prevention initiatives. This position is responsible for ensuring adherence to established infection control standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and oversee the Infection Control Program, conducting thorough surveillance and investigations to enhance patient care practices.
2. Collaborate with various departments, serving as the primary contact for infection control matters and leading the infection control committee.
3. Provide educational resources and training to staff, ensuring they are equipped with the latest knowledge in infection prevention and control.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of clinical experience is preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse is required.
  • CPR certification is necessary.
