We are seeking a skilled and certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of the Operating Room team, you will provide technical support to the perioperative process under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.
Key Responsibilities- Function as part of the Operating Room Team, providing technical support to the perioperative process.
- Assist with scrubbing and circulating tasks, ensuring a safe and efficient operating environment.
- Arrange instruments on the sterile field, maintaining asepsis and adhering to infection control protocols.
- Assist with pre-operative review of charts and pre-operative checklist, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology.
- Successful completion of national exam for certification. Registry Eligible must pass the certification exam within 18 months from date of hire.
- BLS required; Main OR/Trauma experience required (Minimum 1 year).
