Job Overview

Salary: Competitive

Objective:

The Paver, Screw & Roller Operators play a crucial role in the operation of machinery essential for the construction of roadways, parking areas, and airport surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery to effectively spread, smooth, and level asphalt surfaces.
  • Monitor material quantities to ensure optimal usage.
  • Adjust the flow and depth of materials to meet customer specifications.
  • Utilize various types of equipment based on individual skill levels.
  • Engage in diverse tasks related to paving operations, including site labor duties.
  • Participate in cross-training initiatives to enhance skill sets.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while operating equipment and performing manual labor tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a paving crew environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Additional educational qualifications are advantageous.

Required Skills:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the paving industry and various paving machinery.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Physical stamina to bend, crouch, and stand for extended periods.
