Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpentry Shop Supervisor to join our team at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for supervising operations and coordinating administrative functions for our carpentry shop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise staff and coordinate projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Assign staff functions and communicate policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local codes and standards.
  • Provide input on programs and procedures for cost containment and space assessment.
  • Assist with the design and planning of new buildings and renovations of existing spaces.
  • Offer input into the strategic planning process and manage operating expenditures.
