Carpentry Shop Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpentry Shop Supervisor to join our team at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for supervising operations and coordinating administrative functions for our carpentry shop.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise staff and coordinate projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
- Assign staff functions and communicate policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local codes and standards.
- Provide input on programs and procedures for cost containment and space assessment.
- Assist with the design and planning of new buildings and renovations of existing spaces.
- Offer input into the strategic planning process and manage operating expenditures.
- Operations Planning: Anticipate resource needs to meet objectives and implement appropriate processes.
- Leadership: Formulate a vision while motivating and guiding employees to promote engagement.
- Business Results: Achieve business results while focusing on quality, customer satisfaction, and stewardship.
- Quality Management: Develop a systematic process of checking to ensure processes or services meet specific requirements.
- Compliance: Understand rules, regulations, sanctions, and other statutory requirements.
