Carpentry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at ServiceMaster Restore 9464 - Nashville. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of carpentry tasks, including cabinetry and furniture making, structural repair, and facilities maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform carpentry work, including cabinetry and furniture making, structural repair, and facilities maintenance.
- Work from blueprints, specifications, and instructions to design, build, and repair various types of facilities and structures.
- Inspect completed work for conformance with specifications, requirements, and compliance with applicable building and safety codes and regulations.
- Estimate cost, time, and materials for carpentry projects.
- Participate in the maintenance and operation of the carpentry shop.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of disaster restoration or construction industry.
- Proficient with using mobile software to enter data.
- Experience with using Xactimate is preferred but not required.
The incumbent must be prepared to:
- Move up to 70 pounds often, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects.
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time. Lifting, squatting, crawling, and crouching is required.
- Express or exchange ideas with others and receive and act on detailed information given.
- Be exposed to various inside and outside working conditions: The change of environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
