Job Summary

Ascension Illinois is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans on patients of all ages, from infants to adults, using a variety of protocols and techniques.
  • Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment, maintaining a high level of technical proficiency and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Current ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
  • 2+ years of experience in CT scanning, preferably in a hospital or imaging center setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
