Computed Tomography Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Ascension. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans and providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Perform CT scans for the diagnosis of disease and injury, adhering to protocols established by radiologists.
- Prepare and position patients, selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
- Administer contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice and applicable regulations.
- Monitor patient activity and report any abnormalities.
- Recommend updates or refinements to protocols as needed.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider, Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA), and one or more of the following: Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography, or Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
