### Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Ascension. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomographic procedures to aid in the diagnosis of disease and injury.

### Responsibilities

* Perform computed tomographic procedures according to established protocols and guidelines
* Prepare and position patients for procedures, selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately
* Administer contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice and applicable regulations
* Monitor patient activity during procedures and report any abnormalities
* Maintain radiation safety procedures and guidelines

### Requirements

* Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider, Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA), and one or more of the following: Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
* Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience
