TTL, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Construction Field Professional to join our team in Tuscaloosa, AL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for documenting construction projects and inspecting job activities to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Completing daily reports documenting labor and equipment used by the contractor, including a description of work performed and pertinent conversations held with the contractor.
  • Assisting with office work, such as computing earthwork quantities and documenting all construction operations in accordance with the ALDOT construction manual.
  • Reporting directly to the Project Manager and working collaboratively with the team to achieve project goals.

Requirements for this role include:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate professionally, orally, and in writing.
  • Basic computer skills and related technology, including proficiency in software applications relevant to the role.
  • A valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • The ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50+ pounds and work in outdoor environments with varying temperatures.
  • ALDOT construction certifications, including Certified Asphalt Inspector Level I (Field Tester), Certified Concrete Technician, Certified Asphalt Roadway Technician, Work Zone Safety Certification, and Radiological Safety Course Certification.
