Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Manage a team of skilled mechanics, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to complete their tasks effectively.
- Aircraft Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of our aircraft fleet, ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all maintenance work is of the highest quality, and that all defects are identified and rectified in a timely manner.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with the Director of Maintenance, other department heads, and external stakeholders to ensure that all maintenance activities are coordinated and completed efficiently.
- Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to team members to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of supervisory experience in aviation maintenance, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the maintenance of high-turboprop aircraft.
- Certifications: FAA-issued Aircraft & Powerplant Mechanic Certificate.
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Skills: Working knowledge of MS Office applications, ability to read, write, and understand the English language.
